DON'T FORGET TO RESCHEDULE YOUR SATURDAY LESSON IF YOUR STUDENT IS PERFORMING 1/31. THE SCHOOL WILL BE OPEN!
SoR Ashburn closes for one week at the end of each Performance Program season, similar to a public school teacher in-service week. We will use Prep Week to better serve our SoR community. Our team will be training & providing professional development for staff, preparing logistics for next season, repairing gear, improving facility needs, deep-cleaning, and providing students with a much-needed break from the previous season’s hard work before diving into the next. It's an opportunity for us to hit the reset button and hit the ground running next season!
Please note that we do not offer make-up lessons during this time. Our tuition is based on a yearly average and we do not charge extra for 5-week months.
THANKS CAMPERS FOR MAKING OUR WINTER BREAK CAMP AMAZING!
Our Winter Pop Punk Camp was an incredible success! The students rocked out and showed off their new skills during our final show at the school — it was truly awesome!
If your child missed out, don't worry — our spring break and summer break camps are coming up, and they’re sure to be just as exciting. Stay tuned for more details and get ready for more music, fun, and unforgettable performances!!
If you'd be interested in bringing your 4 or 5 year old to try out a free class, please click the button below to get them added to the Little Wing roster! Don't forget our Rookies class for 6 & 7 year old's is the same day!
Our 2026 January Student of the Month is Patrick W.!
Congratulations to Patrick W., our Student of the Month! Patrick is a talented guitar student who just celebrated his one-year milestone with us. He rocketed through Rock 101 and quickly advanced into our performance program, showcasing his dedication, great attitude, and eagerness to learn. Patrick’s teamwork and positive spirit inspire everyone around him. Patrick says that School of Rock means a lot to him because “everybody there is nice and I learn so many new things.” One of his favorite things he’s learned is that “it takes a lot of teamwork to have a working band,” which shows how much he values collaboration. His best advice for new musicians? “Practice like you want to play,” which is pretty inspiring! When it comes to his favorite bands, Patrick loves Metallica, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, and Green Day. If he could join any band, past or present, it’d be Metallica—because he really like their music and it’s super fun to play. And he’s got a fun sense of humor, finishing Kevin's phrase completion request with, “When life gives you lemons... blame it on your sister.” Congrats, Patrick—keep doing your thing and rocking out! We’re proud of his progress and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a musician!
